Masterclass on Brand Licensing, at the India Licensing Expo 2017

India Licensing Expo (ILE), India’s first and most influential business-to-business brand licensing show was concluded successfully on August 21st at the Sahara Star, Mumbai. In attendance were many business leaders, government heads and celebrities. The brainchild of License India, Indian Licensing Expo 2017 witnessed participation from over 100+ global and domestic brands across the retail industry along with more than 5,000 national/international delegates. With an aim to increase awareness and support the growth of licensing in the country, the show proffered two forums, a Master Class and a Conference.
The 2 days certification Master Class began on 19th August and ended on 20th August. The Master Class was a comprehensive overview of how brands extend and expand via licensing. The Master Class was conducted exclusively to 25 delegates by Mr. Pete Canalichio, Brand Licensing Expert and Managing Partner, Licensing Brands Inc. and Mr. Chris Evans, Managing Director, University of Oxford. The Master Class offered practical and in-depth analysis of brand licensing as a business strategy along with educating the attendees with all the tools for brand licensing and merchandising available to them in India. This two-day certification course focused on the key aspects of brand licensing in accordance within a highly fragmented Indian retail market.
The Master Class was such a success that the License India team plans to bring it back for the India Licensing Expo 2018.
